Moving to San Antonio

Moving to any new city is a stressful experience.  Let us make it a less stressful experience.  We specialize in helping families move to San Antonio.  Whether you want to rent first, then buy or are ready to buy when you get here, we will help you every step of the way.  We relocated here a decade ago and can empathize with you and have an acute sense of what your needs are.  Don't just work with any Realtor®, work with someone who knows your situation and can best serve your unique needs!

One of the earliest steps in your move is to become familiar with the local San Antonio market to make informed decisions about renting or buying a home.  Finding that right place to live can be a risky proposition if you are not well informed about the choices available to you.  Moving to an entirely new city, and most likely a new job for you and new school for the kids, compounds the stress involved in the moving process. The expertise of a relocation expert is extremely important at this time.

As relocation experts, we are a virtual goldmine of information about the area, schools, taxes, local housing values and trends, etc.  That is why it is wise to select an agent even before arriving. As a relocation specialist we understand that your most important need initially is information.  We will provide you with detailed information on neighborhoods, amenities, schools, and cost to buy or rent a home.  If you are not selective about choosing your agent, you may end up with an inexperienced or part-time agent who may want to jump right into showing you a home before you get acclimated with our area.

We are also specialists in working with the 50+ segment of the population. Whether you are upsizing, downsizing, or looking for special senior's living, we have the knowledge and experience to help you every step of the way.

Before starting any home search, you should be prepared to answer the following questions:

  1. When will you be in San Antonio to start your search?
  2. What is your planned move-in date?
  3. Do you want to live in a home, condo, apartment, townhouse, or ?
  4. Do you prefer a more urban, suburban, or rural lifestyle?
  5. 1 story or 2 story? Older or newer construction?
  6. Do you prefer to be close to work or school locations?  If so, where is your work or school located?
  7. What is your budget for rent or home purchase?  If buying are you pre-qualified by a lender?
  8. What is the minimum bedrooms?  Bathrooms?  Garage spaces?
  9. Is the school system important?  # of children and grade level of each?
  10. Are there any special housing needs that we should be aware of?
